Through the last few months, we have been testing Aluminum vs. Stainless Steel mounts with Team Green and a few other amateur to pro level riders. The Stainless Steel mounts were the preferred mount for all types of riding / racing. Not only do they make the bike feel more comfortable, they have very good durability compared to Aluminum.

As of now we recommend these "Soft" tops for all off-road, GNCC, desert & conditions where more comfort is needed. We also recommend these for lighter weight MX riders & Vet riders as well.

Even some fast amateur MX kids chose the "soft" over the "Medium".
